May 13 Social Esquif FB A few words from ambassador, paul mason about his new ride, the Zephyr XL I’ve always been amazed at the versatility of the Twintex Esquif Zephyr. I’ve used it to teach from, loaned it to course participants and competed in OC whitewater slalom races with it. But as loaner boat, it was always just a little too sporty for new paddlers. Hence acquiring the T-formex Zephyr XL. This version is 1 inch wider and that has turned this canoe into a sweet ride for everyone. It is still a fast boat, carving extremely well, it really accelerates when you use the “sharc” technique. Yes it is heavier than Twintex but I’m more relaxed when a student uses it because of T-A few formex’s durability. Really my only complaint is that mine is not red😜 p.s. While Pauls' boat is not a red one, we can most definitely get YOU a red one as this boat is available in blue and red. 📷: Sam Ruben

May 8 Social Esquif FB Our team at Esquif is committed to supporting their local communities. Recently, Western Canadian reps Nikki Rekman Sales and Mark Klein donated the use of their Esquif demo fleet to the @SOS Save Our Slough Canoe Tour in Chilliwack, BC. The canoe tour is designed to introduce citizens to a local water-way that needs protecting. From the early 70’s to the early 90’s the Hope River Slough was home of a local canoe race that brought paddlers from all over British Columbia and Western Washington. The dream is to restore the waterway to its former glory. Notre équipe Esquif s’engage à soutenir leurs communautés locales.
