Feb 6 Social Dagger FB Dagger Kayaks Ambassador Bobby Miller finds his stoke while running the 55-foot 'Side-Chick' waterfall on Mexico's Alseseca River. What rapid makes you want to shout with joy after a successful descent? This is what Bobby had to say about his Side-Chick descent: 'The water exits a yet to be run chasm and rushes quickly toward the lip of the falls. The boiling approach swirls to the right where the falling water careens off a wall. Focus and planning are required to get your boat in the right place. I slid off the bank, in the flow and committed. I swung to the outside, getting the desired angle to head back toward the left. As I started over the rolling lip, I tilted my weight forward to encourage my nose down. I entered the water at a steep angle, making for a soft landing on the boil. Celebrating in the pool at the bottom, I felt invigorated by the power of the water and the beauty of the canyon. This is the place where I find my stoke.' #PhantomFast Drone Footage Provided By: ...
