Soft Surfboards, Inc. (SSI) was founded in 2000 by Scott McClain, a Lifelong Waterman, Surfer, Kenpo, Jui-Jitsu Black Belt, Outboard Tunnel Boat Pilot and Skier as a Family Owned company. After more than a decade, the now International Company, remains 100% owned by Mr. McClain. Original Liquid Shredder Soft Surfboards were developed in 1999 for our kids.

Scott wanted a great quality and high performing surfboard that was softer and safer than traditional fiberglass surfboards. He partnered with a Peruvian Surfer who was making body boards. They combined unique, patented Peruvian technology with high performance surfboard shapes to develop the first Liquid Shredder. Mr. McClain took his first prototypes to the Beach and people bought them right off his van. Needless to say, he built tens of thousands more. Since then SSI has grown into a Family Owned International Surfing Hardgoods supplier providing the best surf products on the surface of the earth. SSI provides:
