Fall: Switzerland, Tessin, Vergeletto, Ribo River, Ribo Fall
What's it like
It is a great 15 meter jump, straight into a big pool. Keep right to avoid a rock in the middle of the fall. The biggest danger is in climbing down from the street.
The surrounding WW is class IV+. Above the fall is an unrunnable section, but the section bellow the fall is really worthwhile.
The temperature is pleasant but there not much sun in the gorge. The best time is April to June or after rain fall.
How to get there
From Locarno drive up the Maggia valley. At Ponto Brollo turn left towards Intragna. After the village Intragna turn right to Vergeletto. In this small village you walk down a small path to the fall.
