Safety and pleasure

This folding kayak is a new model, produced by us. It is a safe boat with high stability, even under difficult sea conditions as well as on rivers and lakes. On the sides under the skin run sponsons to increase the all - over stability of the craft. The skin is made of impregnated cotton fabric of abrasion resistant quality with high "breatheability" that ensures comfortable air circulation inside the boat (especially when using a spray deck). The skin is made of cotton fabric with either rubber or plastic coating. This treatment prevents degradation resulting from exposure to ultra violet radiation, salt water and low temperatures. Air tubes running along the entire length inside of the boat. are called air sponsons. These tubes, encased in the soft sides, provide unbelievable stability. The steeply pitched deck and washboards keep the cockpit dry even in wind and waves. A canvas detail strip in the deck-hull-seam expands when wet and completely seals the seam. The longitudinal members of the frame are made of high - quality ash, for its resilience and flexibility. Transverse members (ribs, gunwale) are made of many -layered plywood, for its ability to withstand shock loads. Moreover, the new graded steel fittings guarantee a faster and easier assembly. Due to these improvements the dimensions of the packed boat have been reduced to 1.55 metres (about 5.1 foot).
