The Helios I is a single-seat kayak that incorporates the same fabrics and features as the Helios II, but with additional room for gear storage under the extended fore and aft decks. Weighing only 24 pounds in the LitePack™ version, it is a very credible pocket touring kayak.

The Helios I is available in two versions

• Helios I EX - fully rubber-coated Nitrylon™ fabric construction throughout. Nitrylon™ is rugged, dries fast, and is easy to keep clean.
• Helios I - construction using Nitrylon™ on the outer hull and LitePack™ fabric on the decks and the interior. LitePack™ fabric cuts 10% off the weight of the kayak, allows for a smaller folded package, and feels nice on bare skin.
