The Kestrel 160 recreational kayak draws on the proven success of the Kestrel 120 and Kestrel 140.

A full 2 feet longer than the Kestrel 140, the Kestrel 160 becomes the largest solo member of the Kestrel family, measuring 16’x 26”. This larger size readily accommodates larger paddlers and more gear while offering increased initial stability. In addition to paddlers confidence, the increased stability is useful for photography and other activities using magnified optics.

The Kestrel 160 is available exclusively in Current Designs “Hybrid” construction, an aramid and fiberglass vacuum-bagged composite. This construction gives elegance and responsiveness, all in a weight conscious built to last kayak. Rescue lines, deck bungees, two composite bulkheads with hatches and a generous cockpit opening complete the standard Kestrel outfitting.
