The Streetfighter is a board that will keep you coming back again and again to whitewater rivers. Traditional SUP shapes simply don’t work in rivers, no matter how strong you make them, or inflatable, or rubberized. Surf shapes are designed for operating on a plane, and when you’re on a river, you’re never planing. The Streetfighter thus looks much more like a “creeking kayak” than a SUP. High volume sides so its forgiving, progressive rocker throughout so its quick to turn and can “bob” through wave trains, and a high volume peaked nose keeps the ride dry. Built using Kevlar (the same stuff used to make bullet proof vests), the Streetfighter can take a lot of abuse – which the river is bound to hand out.
