Ardennes, Tilff area, River Ourthe, Tilff.

Playspot: Belgium, Ardennes, Tilff area, River Ourthe, Tilff.

What's it like

A nice little playspot between Liege and Tilff on the left side of the Ourthe, good for cartwheels, splitwheels, loops and blasts when the water on the Maas is low (Ampsin Neuville between 70 and 80 m3/s).

The spot is much more interesting and retentive than it may seem at first glance; when you go in, you will be surprised.

How to get there

When you drive in Liege on the transit, you take the direction E25. Just when you go over the Ourthe you follow the directions to Tilff (right). At the first traffic lights, go left and after 400 meters go left again under the railroad. Once you see the Ourthe, go right and follow the river for 1 km. Then you'll see a kayak club (slalom) on your left hand side by a little bridge. Cross the bridge and you'll see the playspot just in front of you.
