International Rivers Tackling Hydropower Myths on the Mekong: “Run-of-River” Does Not Mean Sustainable
International Rivers - There are 11 dams planned to be built on the Mekong River and 2 of them are under construction, most of them coming on important tributaries. Through this the Mekong river faces ecological threat. Studies conducted by groups and organisations all warn of severe impacts dams would have on the river. However, dam proponents say that these (ROR) projects can be built “sustainably” with limited impacts or that impacts can be minimized. Since their theory is untested and unproven, it’s just not worth implementing them as negative impacts are high.

Simon Wyndham - Cagdecks, or top decks, are sometimes labelled as being expensive and dangerous in equal degree. The spare usually ended up being a Hobie that has a different system then the Flex Drive that Jackson has introduced. T
Frogma Opening Day Bonus - My First Ride in Canarsian
Frogma - As I'd mentioned in the last post, I'd made a decision to garden rather than paddle. That was a bit of a tough call if you've been reading this blog for very long, you'll know that I really like traditions like New Year's Day paddles and Escapes from Black Friday (by land or by sea, either one's a million zillion times better than shopping), and the Opening Day paddle is definitely one of those.
