For the 2013 season, Team Dagger unveils a roster of world-class kayakers, ranging from rising stars to seasoned paddlers. GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 07, 2013) – For the 2013 season, Team Dagger unveils a roster of world-class kayakers, ranging from rising stars to seasoned paddlers. The diverse group is made up of outstanding athletes, adventurers, entrepreneurs, and filmmakers, all of whom embody the Dagger heritage with their competitive spirit, passion for the sport, sense of adventure, and commitment to the larger community.

“Every athlete on Team Dagger brings a unique perspective to the team,” said Jessica Prescott, brand marketing manager at Dagger and Confluence Watersports. “Our goal is to not only further the sport of kayaking through the support of our team’s many endeavors, but to also capture our athletes’ energy and knowledge and give them a strong voice in the design process. Team Dagger comprises some of the best paddlers in the world, and anyone who paddles a Dagger kayak can feel the difference that comes with that level of research and input.”

“We have a talented and dynamic group of paddlers on the team this year,” said Chris Gragtmans, Team Dagger manager. “I am excited to not only share my love of the sport with this crew of passionate athletes but to also watch their success throughout the season and have the privilege of competing right alongside them. I know that 2013 will be a great year for both Team Dagger and the brand, and I am honored to kick off my first year in the manager position with such a fantastic group.”

Returning to the roster is a group of standout paddlers including Rush Sturges, Tyler Bradt, Pat Keller, Brad Ludden, and Team Dagger manager, Chris Gragtmans. Dagger also welcomes newcomers Ben Marr, Gareth Tate, Max Karlsson, Ryan Mooney, five-year-old Malcolm Smith, and current World Freestyle Champion James Bebbington to the Dagger family.
