agger will raffle off the iconic Green Boat in a custom color with all proceeds going to the river conservation and river access efforts of American Whitewater. Dagger’s Green Boat, which is designed for steep creek racing and inspired by the Green River Narrow in Tennessee, will once again infiltrate the races at the Gauley Festival in Summersville, W.V. The 29th annual Gauley Fest will be held this weekend, September 14-16, 2012, and Dagger will be there to support the fun and the good cause. As in past years, all proceeds from the weekend benefit American Whitewater.

In addition to hosting a booth, Dagger will raffle off the iconic Green Boat in a custom color – the new green/gray/white Storm – with all proceeds going to the river conservation and river access efforts of American Whitewater. Tickets can be purchased at the Dagger booth for $5 or 5 for $20 for three. Ticket holders must be present and able to take the boat home the night of Saturday, September 15 to win.

Chris Gragtmans, the Team Dagger Manager, and other Team Dagger athletes will be out on the water and joining in the celebration. “Gauley Fest is a wonderful weekend of kayakers, rafters, and river enthusiasts getting together to celebrate and support our country’s rivers,” said Team Dagger Manager, Chris Gragtmans. “Not only is it an incredibly fun event, it also benefits an outstanding organization and upholds the Dagger values of adventure, passion, and community in the spirit of competition and furthering our sport.”

Stop by the Dagger booth to meet the athletes, check out the new Dagger Jitsu freestyle kayak and the new color combos, enjoy games, and pick up some Dagger swag.

Started in 1983, Gauley Fest has grown to become the largest river festival in the world and the largest fund-raising event for American Whitewater.
