The 2016 Eastern Regional Senior Championships has a proud history of being not only one of the biggest Surf Lifesaving Events in New Zealand, but one of the most competitive. The event offers almost all the events available at the 2016 New Zealand Championships, drawing upon the best of the best to determine the 2016 Eastern Regional Champions and Top Club.
