Ok, so i know, demo, demo, demo. I did that. And paddle a JK Allstar. Thing is i think im a bit big for it (80kgs, which i wasnt when i got it.), and as a consequence, everytime i get backwards in a hole, unintentional stern ends ensue. Now, im still just learning, so i realise this is probably my fault, but im thinking of selling up and getting a new playboat and wanted some input so come on guys, whaddya think? (I like the vision56, but i was told the only boat that can really carve properly, and thus get real wave speed is the dragorossi squashtail? Answers on a postcard.)

How long do you have this Allstar? My advise; don't change too quick, you need some time to get used to a playboat!!

I should have said earlier. Ive had the Allstar a year and a half. I can cartwheel in holes, flatspin, loop, but its really been recently that ive been struggling. And yes ive demoed the Vision, really liked it, but that was 6 months back.

go for a superstar if you feel its to small. maybe something with a bit more stern if you keep doing back loops on acident.

can you move your weight foreward in your allstar at all that could make the tail less trippy! play around before you change boats. Also its just after christmas so everyone is carrying abit of excess weight!

Got the seat as far forward as itll go in the allstar, i know people who've drilled extra holes but i dont have space on the seat attachment to do this without splitting it. Had a look at the superstar, but it'd be far too big. Being a bit big for the boat has been a problem for a while, and i didnt put on any weight over crimbo. See im just a bit undecided about getting another boat, but thanks for the help folks.
