Hi there,

I have the option of a 0degree off-set or a 45 degree offset. I was wondering which one is easiest for rolling or is it just a matter of preference?

Does one require more set up to roll properly than the other?

Cheers

I believe it is your preference. I recommend the 45 degrees because that is generally more comfortable as matches to the basic anatomy of human body.
For rolling you need the same as normally (only if you can change paddle after falling need other  )

I'd go for the 45, rather than zero. But if it was me buying, I'd buy 30 degree, as that's my preference.

90% of the time you'll be rolling up using your control hand - most people use right hand control paddles, and thus use the right blade - and hence feather makes no differece for that blade, it's only when you roll on your 'off' side. But it really won't make much difference. You won't roll any better or worse with either offsets :)
