The top-selling Bite has gotten an upgrade! The open deck and well-designed tackle management features have come together with our latest version of the Flex Drive, the Flex Drive 3D. The Bite Angler takes the 2019 Bite and adds new features including extra seat padding, seat security clips, MOLLE panel for ease of customization and is now offered in most fishing colors for 2020. Easily accessible tackle storage located along the gunnels provide a convenient spot for stashing tackle boxes, and rod stagers are molded into the geometry of the deck for quick rod changes. The open-concept deck has been long-awaited from Jackson, giving the paddler ample storage space fore and aft along with a system of touring-style bungie cords. The Big Tuna is one of our largest capacity kayaks with the ability to paddle either as a tandem or a solo fishing kayak. It has many different seating positions allowing for traditional tandem positions, ‘facetime’ positions and a good variety of solo positions making it a great platform for fishing of all kinds. Its JK stability, logical accessory positioning, rudder option, and speed make it a serious predator in all water types. Unique “Tuna Tank” can be used as a livewell or dry storage.

The bigger fish is one foot longer version of our big fish SUP, for extra capacity, glide and speed. It has the same flat deck and extended deck pad for comfort. The specific rocker design allows a shorter waterline with lighter paddlers for easy maneuverability. Heavier paddlers engage a longer waterline for more stability and tracking.

The name of this kayak, Big Rig, sums up exactly what it is intended to do and for whom it was intended to do it for - big stability for the many anglers that deserve a model to help them feel comfortable in a smaller watercraft, and even allow them to stand and fish from one! If this kayak was much wider we might have to call it a boat, but our design team kept it at just the right specs to allowing the Big Rig to maintain the performance of a kayak with the stability of a boat. They also crafted the hull for reliable, efficient performance in most kayak fishing situations - lakes, ponds, rivers, inshore saltwater bays or marshes - so no matter where you go the Big Rig is ready to make you feel comfortable there!

Most importantly, the Big Rig HD can be converted into the Big Rig FD. The HD version of the Big Rig has features an oversized center storage pod, foot-controlled rudder system, the Ergo Seat with infinite Hi-Lo and Fore-Aft trimming vs fixed position, and the unique Big Rig rod troughs are doubled up with TWO rod tubes on both sides of the bow. The Big Rig HD's new rod staging system lets you set down and snap up your rods at a moments' notice.
