Hello, is there anyone that has run the Murtaugh Canyon within the past year or two? I know it isn't running right now but I would like to learn the lines and follow someone down when it is up and running. Any contact info is greatly appreciated.

Also, I have run some class IV stuff and want to start running the lower 5. I'm thinking about starting about a half mile from the confluence with the SF Payette and just read and run pretty much from there. Run that a few times then move up another half mile or so. Suggestions?

I have been kayaking for about 4 years. I am most comfortable in my Fluid Detox, but I'm looking at a ZET Director.
