The Delta 15.

5 is a desirable sea kayak to paddle in any condition with stability and speed being a focus during its design planning. The 15.5 is a stellar candidate for persons wishing to explore our nation’s waterways for weeks at a time. Its dry storage volume is large enough to consider two week expeditions with little concern for leaving something behind. Superb initial stability and amazing secondary very similar to our 14.5 provides an exemplary platform for photographers and fishermen alike. Long legged or larger paddlers will appreciate the comfort due to the spacious cockpit, combined with its ability to eat up the miles makes the Delta 15.5 a pleasure to paddle for hours at a time.

note: Delta Kayaks Rudder is standard but can be ordered without
color options.

Further Specs:
Bow Dry Storage: 28.1Gal / 106.8L
Stern Dry Storage: 39.1Gal / 148.6L
Cockpit Volume: 59.9Gal / 227.6L

Delta Kayaks fifteen 5 Exp.

About myself

I've been ocean kayaking for about 8 years.

About the test environment

I've tested in lakes, rivers and the ocean

Review

It's the most stab;e kayak I've paddled. Speed is about average and tracking is about average with the rudder up and tracks like it's on rails with the rudder down. It's a very comfortable boat to sit in for long periods of time. It handles waves great and is fun to surf. Fit and finish is very good with very glossy colors.

Conclusion

I really like this kayak and it's priced lower than others like it.
