(September 14, 2011) – The Dagger Green Boat may have been inspired by the Green River Narrows in Tennessee, but it’s infiltrating the Gauley River of West Virginia this upcoming weekend. The 28th annual Gauley Fest, presented by American Whitewater, takes place September 16-18, 2011, and Dagger will be there to support the fun.

In addition to hosting a booth, Dagger will raffle off a custom Green Boat, with all proceeds going to the river conservation and river access efforts of American Whitewater. Tickets can be purchased at the Dagger booth for $5.00 each, or $12.00 for three. Ticket holders must be present on Saturday, September 17, to win.

An early opportunity to win free Dagger swag is on until Wednesday, September 14. Simply go to the Dagger Facebook page and post your top reason for going to Gauley Fest. Then, hit up your friends and family to “like” your post. The ten posts with the most “likes” will win. The contest ends on Wednesday at noon (EST). Winners can pick up their Dagger goods at the Dagger booth at Gauley Fest this weekend. For more details, check out: http://www.dagger.com.

Dagger team manager and athlete, Andrew Holcombe, and other Team Dagger athletes will be out on the water and joining in the celebration. Stop by the Dagger booth to meet the athletes and enjoy demos, games and a cold beer.
