Nominations are open for positions on the International Canoe Federation’s Board of Directors and Technical Committees. 

Elections will be held at the ICF Congress that will take place on November 7 and 8 in Antalya, Turkiye. 

ICF President, Vice-President (3), Treasurer and Technical Committee Chairs for Canoe Sprint, Canoe Slalom, Paracanoe, Canoe Marathon, Canoe Polo, Canoe Freestyle, Wildwater Canoeing, Canoe Ocean Racing, Stand Up Paddling and Medical and Anti-Doping are among the roles open for nominations. 

There is also an opportunity to nominate for selection to become a member of a Standing Committee and the Dragon Boat Commission. 

A deadline of 6pm CET on Wednesday, August 7 has been set for National Federations to submit nominations. 

There is no limit to the number of people that an NF can nominate but each nomination must be on a separate form.

How to register to attend ICF Congress

Registration has also opened for NFs to secure a place at the ICF Congress in Antalya. 

Each NF can have a maximum of three attendees, of which one can vote. 

If there are three attendees from the same federation, there must be at least one female and male present. 

Any additional attendees from a NF outside this limit must be registered as an observer and will not sit at the NF table. 

The registration deadline is Tuesday, October 8.

The ICF is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. 

All attendees at the ICF Congress are invited to attend a special centenary dinner to be held on Saturday, November 9. 

A deadline of Wednesday, August 7 has also been set for applications to host the 2026 ICF Congress.
