First kayaking trip of 2023, early January - paddling on the large lake #Mälaren with #ItiwitX500 Strenfit inflatable kayak and #Prijon #Touryak500 #seakayak in sometimes heavy wind and #waves. It was an interesting but sometimes challenging paddle, where we ended up paddling in absolute darkness against heavy wind during the final stretch (this video shows earlier parts of the paddle). More videos will follow from this trip! For conditions like these, especially in cold water, proper training, experience, and safety gear and precautions are required.
