5 years ago I was asked if I wanted to paddle up the Great Glen. At the time all I had was river boats, so always one for an adventure, I bought a Prijon Seayak sea kayak and a Loch Ness monster cuddly. I was persuaded to train for the Great Glen on the Forth Estuary. It's several 100 times wider than the Tay. A squeeky bum and a change of pants later, I was hooked. Nessie and I headed up the Great Glen. This was the beginning of a fantastic journey. I have met a wide range of people and paddled amongst some of the most fantastic scenery imaginable. I used sea kayaking to help get over my fathers death a few years ago. Unfortunately a few of the people I have met, have lost their lives far too soon too. In these tough times our memorable moments are what get us through. This video is a compilation of some of my memorable moments during my adventures in the last 5 years. It includes wind, rain, sun, blood, sweat, and tears. Each of these moments good, or difficult have stuck in my memory for various reasons. It is by no means all my memories, but ones that could fit into two songs, which in their own right mean a lot to me. I would not change a thing. I will be back with a vengeance as soon as I can get out into the wilds again. Slàinte Mhath
