If you're an amazon prime member, this very nice fixed blade knife is $7 on Woot. Woot is owned by amazon.

I have probably 5 or 6 of those scattered around the house and boat - it is a great bait knife.

I agree. I got one back in June $6.54 shipped. It’s a great bait and mess around knife without worrying damaging your expensive knives.

They're actually crazy good.  I have a serrated one that I keep clipped on my weight belt when I spearfish.  It doesn't even get rinsed every time it sees salt.  The blade has never had more than a few spots of cosmetic surface rust, and it wipes off.  I've been diving with that knife for 4 years, and the only thing I wore out was the little bump in the sheath that holds it in place.  (I just double wrap a rubber band around the handle/sheath and it stays in fine when I'm inverted underwater.)

Worth every penny.

Looks like a great bait knife.  I used to get them for $4 up in Seattle at the commercial fishermen supply.  I'd but four or five at a time.

I purchased the stainless knife to use to cut bait and gills.  After each use you have to make sure to give it a proper rinsing otherwise you'll definitely see rust spots start to show up all over the edge of the blade.  But for the price it's a great handy knife to have.

$6.50 on amazon right now.

This doesn't look to be the same knife. The Woot listed one is stainless steel. The Amazon one is carbon steel and a little smaller.
