WHERE'S THE LIGHTNING TROUT?

You guys are the best thank you.  My first freshwater fish on the yak and first trout since I was a little boy.  No luck for lightning trout at Quarry Lake even though they planted this week.  That lake is tough fishing.. it can make a grown man cry!  But I heard the bite at Shadow Cliffs in Pleasanton was good on Friday  :smt001

That lake is tough to fish.....  been skunked both times.  If I go back I’ll be using a small deep six diver with spoons.  Thanks for the video Nick.
We're gonna need a bigger boat!

I tried the deep six but I found they were hugging the bottom so I didn't get bit.  Carolina rig w/ a 4 ft fluorocarbon leader, 1/8th oz sinker, and grub worked for me

Especially when the waters cool like this, don't use any diver. Top lining is the name of the game. Use divers or down rigger when its warm and the fish go deep
