Hey All,

For anyone who targets the delta for salmon, it is still early in the season and the water temp is still running warm ~70-71 degrees. I launched out of Garcia Bend yesterday and made the ~6 mile trek downstream to Freeport. I marked some fish on my way down to Freeport and marked a few more in the Freeport area but the fish were sparse. I talked to a few other fisherman on the water and they didn’t have any luck either. Hopefully we get some cooler weather in the coming weeks (September) to cool down the water to bring a couple of fresh runs into the system before they bomb their way up to their breeding grounds.

Good luck out there!
