Hello Folks,
Here's my story. . . Years ago went on a Kayak trip on the San Marcos river in Texas years ago.  Loved it, and wanted to get back on the water.  Was never able to.
Started fishing doing the old foot soldier method about 2-3 years ago.  Have had some dismal success.  Casting is dismal for distance, but I can usually hit my area.
Had a steal of deal lined up and ready to close it for a Kayak with a fish finder and all the other items for a super low price.  The seller just wouldn't communicate.  So I am moving on.  Decided to go new instead.

Been doing tons of research, and have settled on a couple of "go to" kayaks.
Perception's Pescadaro Pro 12
Vibe Sea Ghost 130
Feel Free Lure 13.5
Just to name a few off the top of my head.

Headwaters is a bit of a trek but making plans to check them out next month.

West Marine is very close, going to go there next week.

I live in Hayward, so I definitely want to get something that would handle decently in any condition.  I am well aware not every boat is capable in every situation though.

Trout was what got me started, but bass and salmon are also becoming a draw.

Look forward to your responses.

Tight lines,
Marko

Welcome, Green Marko. I don't know anything about those kayaks, but others might chime in with some suggestions.

Hope to see you on the water!
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

Welcome Marko,
You can’t go wrong at Headwaters, they know kayaks and kayak fishing!

IMO, the time investment in getting over there is worth it to get your first craft.

Go demo some kayaks at headwaters and get the best one for you. Crescent lite tackle and new designed FeelFree Moken 12.5 is a good option too.

Welcome Marko, I’m located in Union City not to far away from you. Maybe  we can get out and go fishing sometime. I know you said your looking for a new kayak now but I do have a Moken 14 that I have been thinking of selling for awhile now. If your interested you could come and take a look at it or try it try it out sometime.
