IT was a ‘paddle-of-war’ kayaking expedition from Lumut to Teluk Sekadeh, an uninhabited island off Pulau Pangkor, Perak, in 1995.
Not only did I have to fight against the elements, but I also had to row most of the time in the two-seater kayak.
