The boards have most of the features that have been proven out over the years in high Olympic flat water racing kayaks. We took this singular knowledge and blended it with input from our team of world-class athletes to create the fastest, most unique race boards on the market. Our race boards are hand crafted using a proprietary laminating process that gives the boards incredible stiffness while keeping their weight an extremely light 26 lbs. The boards are then refined with a race sanded matte finish. The race finish helps to break surface tension and provides a much faster plane than a painted board.

Given the name WXR3, the race model was developed for fast paddling while maintaining comfort under your feet. Constructed from 1lb EPS foam, the WXR3 features a specialized single to double bottom concave tunnel design. This concave tunnel helps channel water faster through the center of the board and around the fin to aid in forward momentum. The increased bottom surface area also allows for a narrower board design. The foot-well has been contoured and makes for a stable area during paddle strokes. All race models feature a full vector net layup on top and bottom giving the board strength but still being lightweight. A carbon strip added to the nose area and the top and bottom adds reinforcement and protection against damage.
