At this point, the Paha exemplifies what we consider the cutting edge of performance surfing. The bottom design marries a definite “V” with a slight concave and a double barrel off the fins. This board wants to ride like a performance short board; drives hard, converts from rail to rail quickly and will really surprise you off the top. Luana in Hawaiian means relaxed or cruising and the names suits this board to a “t”. Combine a progressive smooth round tail, a very forgiving rail and a contoured bottom and you get a board that excels in either ocean or inland waters. The 10’9” length also works well for those needing a stable all around board but have limited space for handling and or storage.

The Kane was built for the guys that keep taking their wife’s board (The Wahine) out into the surf and asking “why the flowers”? To make everyone happy, we changed the graphics and the name. The two boards are identical in design. Both the Kane and the Wahine provide great all around performance. The Kai’e’e is another interesting mix of performance characteristics. Here’s a board that not only excels in the surf but gives the rider an excellent glide that benefits coastal cruising or flat water paddling. It’s a difficult task to build a board that meets these two criteria. Here’s how it works. We start with a relatively flat entry that transitions into a subtle concave to provide stability and lift. As the water travels towards the tail, speed and stability are increased via a double barrel concave channeling water towards the fins. The swallow tail and the optional four fin set up offers the rider wanting to surf as much performance as he’s ready for while giving the extended paddler all the glide they’d want. The Stand Up 11 differs from the SU12 and SU10 in that we made a few small but critical changes to the way we make the board to take it to that next level. The board performs much in the same way as the Stand Up 10, with that little extra speed you get from the added length.
