The Playak News Watch continously finds the world"s new paddling headlines.
From the huge number of headlines it finds,
hand-pick and present the best ones (yes, that is very subjective, but they do their best to please our readers) every day, and those that then get the most reader views are sent out in the daily News Flash.
Each Friday, we send out the Weekly Digest (instead of the daily News Flash), containing the top headlines of the past 7 days, as well as the most popular videos and forum topics, and a
list of upcoming paddling events.

Published on Dec 15, 2016 From a Lion trapped for 3 years, to a giraffe with a hideous broken neck, these are 10 Animals Who Survived the Impossible 5. They say cats always land on their feet. A nine-year old feline named Copper actually survived a fall of 14 stories from an apartment building in New York City. The cat managed to squeeze through the narrow window and slipped out of the building. Cats are prone to falling because of chasing after birs or insects … the ASPCA refers to the phenomenon as ‘High-Rise Syndrome’. Usually when I see paddlers do this stretch they twist too much with their body which puts a lot of force through the front of the shoulder and stretches the shoulder capsules instead of the chest muscles. To keep this from happening use a doorway or a corner of the room and step forward with one leg to help keep your back neutral; lean forward until you feel a stretch through your chest and you can see now there is much less stretch happening directly at her shoulder. This is important for paddlers because stretching the shoulder capsule will make your shoulder more unstable. You can also move your arms up higher or down lower to feel the stretch in different parts of your chest... read more...

http://www.insyncphysio.com 604-298-4878 This next stretch is for your biceps; put the back of your hand against the wall and as far up the wall as feels comfortable, then you’re going to turn your body away from the arm that you’re stretching until you feel a strong but comfortable stretch in your biceps. To stretch your triceps bring your arm up over your head and bend your elbow so that your hand is touching the back of the same shoulder; you can use your other hand or a wall to increase the stretch by bringing your elbow further back. https://www.linkedin.com/pub/insync-physio/42/518/a44 https://www.facebook.com/InSync-Physiotherapy-Sport-Medicine-Rehabilitation-clinic-174870799230333/ https://twitter.com/insyncphysio https://www.pinterest.com/InsyncPhysio http://blo... read more...
