Not a local to NorCal but I'm interested in the types of fishing you guys do and the types of kayaks you use. I currently have a Hobie Revo 16 but I'm trying out a couple different Stealth Kayaks. Trying to get info on how you guys compare the two to one another. I live in south Florida and this is certainly hobie land.

Welcome.  Kayaks here vary greatly by target species & water type.

Welcome aboard.

Peddle vs paddle is like the difference between bud and ale or Ford vs Chevy. Some just like what they like.  A revo works in most fishing environments in Nor Cal so no real need to look elsewhere unless you want a change or don't feel comfortable in it.

I am a forced hobie guy because I can only paddle small amounts before pain or numbness sets in.  Definitely times I wish I could paddle a lighter kayak.

I primarily spear fish from my Hobies, but do line fishing.  Mostly ocean but plan on going inland on rougher days.

See you out there.

Hi everyone- fishing enthusiast, kayak owner, and business owner. Need more fishing...
My business is for promoting camping size refillable propane cylinders.  Yes, they do exist and I'm NOT talking about refilling throw-away cylinders.  Anyway, happy to entertain questions and I look forward to getting my fishing on! :smt006

You already posted in a topic about refilling propane so not sure why you needed to post about it in someone's intro post.  If you can contribute to a topic please do but introduce yourself and become a contributing member before you start advertising for your business.  Just a better way to go about it.  In my opinion it's like joining just to post a for sale ad.

Welcome Freddy!

I have a revo 16 and a revo 13.  I like the speed and tankwell of the 16.

I took a Stealth pro fisha on the water a few times, and it paddles like a dream.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I personally would use a Revo 16 as a primary fishing kayak, and get a Stealth as a second kayak cuz they are so damned nice.
