Okay, so it may be a bit difficult to canoe on a frozen river or lake in February, but snow canoeing was a favourite for all ages at the Bon Soo Winter Playground at Mill Market Saturday afternoon.
Young participants enjoyed canoeing down an icy slope specially designed by Bon Soo organizers.
Saturday also marked the Bon Soo Dog Pull contest, sponsored by Foremost Pet Foods (in which dogs in four different weight categories tested their pulling strength), snow soccer and, of course, the legendary Bum Slides.
Sunday marks the Bon Soo Polar Bear Swim at Bellevue Park.
