Hobie 10'6" x 32" x 180 liters to Angulo 8'8" x 32" x 140 liters.

Started to figure it out.

Rawson 9'4" x 31.5" x 147 liters to  Rawson 8'2" x 32" x 130 liters.

Started to go shorter.  ;D  ;D  ;D

I went from an 11'6 cruiser to an  8'11 Allwave and found the transition pretty manageable. The Allwave still had plenty of volume and width for me,  though, and I suspect the size of the jump doesn't matter much until you approach your ideal volume and width.
