I tried to load some pics here and to another section on the forum and it is saying the pics I tried to upload are invalid! Any suggestions?

Max size is 1024x768 pixels(17in monitor) for normal pics.

Go to imgur.com and register(just sign in w/your google/FB account) then go to "images" by hovering over your username and clicking on the images link that pops up.
Once that window opens you can "Auto-Resize" any pic you upload to whatever size you want by adjusting the setting located on the right of that screen.
To download you simply drag/drop the images from your computer to anywhere on that page.
Once the download it complete click on the image and you'll see a list of links to the right of your pic.
You'll want to copy the one that says "BBCode (message boards & forums)" It will automatically add the so your picture will just appear on your post..like this

Best(easiest) way to get your pic down to that size without imgur.com is to just right click the pic select "copy image" or just "copy."

Open MS paint, at the top left corner you'll see a button for "paste" click that and paste your pic into MS paint.

Just click the button for "resize" just under the crop button.
Change the selector from percentage to "Pixels" and then change the value in the box with the bigger number to 1024 and click enter.
It should auto adjust the second box then simply click "OK" and don't forget to save the file on your computer to a place easy to find.
(In paint it's often best to click "file" then "save as" and change to Jpeg just in cast it changes your image to something else)

Also wanted to add: Using offsite image hosting doesn't run up the bandwidth on the forum nearly as much.(admins, feel free to correct me if this isn't the case) It's usually not a big deal unless you upload a pic that goes viral and 500,000 individual pc/mobile platforms dl the pics from the forum for viewing. Doesn't even have to be a good pic...this pic I took of my dog bit doorknob has been viewed over 683,000 times. http://i.imgur.com/KdHe7AU.jpg (can't post here because it's over the 1024 pixel limit)

I got it to work, but all I did was take more picswith a lower resolution! Thaks for the advice though!
