Caught the outgoing tide this morning. I started on the west side drifting toward Ryde, but getting few hookups, so switched to the east side fishing the shade. I caught several LMB with the largest of the day being 14 1/2 inches. Once the in-coming tide started, I went back to the west side of the river and drifted back to Ko-Ket. The smallies finally started to bite on the in-coming tide and the total fish for the day was 12. All fish were caught using Senkos, trolling and casting crank baits did not work today.

The crank bait bite was not there for me this year. My go to smallie bait became countdowns or flukes with a tad bit of lead. They tear them white flukes apart!
