It was great to meet you all this last weekend. I C&R one fatty coho and then headed over to Flatiron on Saturday with Phil and then Sunday we repeated fishing around the south and then again up North. Phil hooked up on a thrasher which cut him off on Sunday in the south. Rock fishing was slow. I did end up taking a limit of ling, biggest a little over 31. Got my saltwater therapy. Looks like everyone had a good time. :smt006

Great meeting some NCK guys last weekend as well!   Always fun fishing with you DrDave.
Rockfish fishing was fair to good on Saturday.  Was able to catch some good variety of Rockfish.
Sunday bite was slow but always good to be out on the water at Trinidad.

Congrats, Doug - nice fish!   :smt007

Sounds like at least two kings, a shaker and a silver caught today by yaks.

Trinidad is the focus for closing out the season unless I hear some hot bite at the Cove or something...  See you up there.   :smt001

Pete seems to be getting them good at the Cove, but when there is an option that is a 1/3 less driving time then it's a no brainer even if most of the salmon are small..

It was very good meeting LoletaEric and baron today! Tons of bait, warm water and even a few fish. No salmon love for me today but a pretty steady bite on blacks and a ling. Eric caught a shark of some kind. The ocean was nice, but the wind did kick up a little about noon.

If you want to learn the ropes on salmon fishing I highly recommend Eric. I got some good information and techniques that will serve me well for a long time. Thanks Eric!

I hooked 3 salmon but only landed one, early this morning right on the outside edge of the harbor. The one I landed was a Coho about 9-10 lbs.. It was pretty exciting for a couple hours. :smt007

one more day!
