Thanks Tote & Fuzz for the report.  Yes, it was nice condition; I was fishing from an inflatable in the same area that day.  I came back in at around 2:30pm, and I saw a few teenagers heading out diving.  Later from the hill top I saw them diving near the sliding rocks area and I saw another diver out there near the wreck (probably Fuzz).  I wondered whether those teens saw anything.

BTW, did Fuzz wear a sharkshield at the time of encounter?  Do you have an estimate of the length of the GWS?

Fuzz called me on his way home...

He was not wearing a shark shield, and he estimated the GWS at "only" 8-10 feet long.

Sincerely,

Jim

Thanks Jim for the info.  I felt a little relief to know of its length, but still I don't want to ever see that cute and friendly thing when I am out there diving.
