Decided to take the kayak out yesterday to Caspar and continue my exhausting hunt looking for a 10 and/or MFE. This was my 6th back to back day of diving and still neither. Kept it really shallow in hopes of finding one. Never went to 20'.

Surprisingly fishy for so shallow. Nothing big, but a handful of legal sized fish. Got 2 lings, 2 cabs, a grass rockfish, and a 9" ab.

Weather was weird. 5-25' vis depending on the spot. I'd dive one area and the vis would get great with the fresh clean water coming in, but after a bit it would become blown out and i'd have to move to another spot. Did that at least 3 times.

For some reason I went full retard and thought my grassy was a gopher. I was stoked at an 18" gopher. Never seen one that big on DOTY. Until Jim crushed my soul and brought it to my attention that it wasn't a gopher haha...

Videos pretty shaky since I was bouncing around checking cracks and ledges shallow.
