Hey guys,
Gonna post a few pics of my lowrance 4 elite chirp out on Lake Woodlands.
Not sure if I have my settings correct, but I have never ever seen a fish "arch". I seem to see and distinguish brush pretty well, but I also see tons of the balls/specs and they seem to turn into long skinny things when I start moving or wind blows me around.
Any tips on just what the heck I'm seeing??
Any recommendations for settings to use on Lake Woodlands/Lake Conroe?

More examples
In the examples showing tons of dots, those dots become those lines going everywhere once my kayak starts moving or blowing a little bit in the wind.

Mine did that also
I changed from a 7.2ah to 8ah battery
I also when I got to the lake I did a reset
I don't know which of the 2 did it but it started acting right

Try changing your ping speed to normal. Your down scan seems to be working great. Second pic on #2 post. Those look to be a bunch of fish to me. Those arches are much easier to see in simulation.
