Nice looking board. I saw two really sweet new JL boards out surfing at Noriega's--well, between Noriega and Mama's to be precise. Young guns on sweet looking multi-color JL boards I haven't seen before. They were ripping.

I was on my Foote 10'4" wearing a camelback, listening to music while I surfed. I'm sure they wondered what the heck I was.

Jimmy is about as technologically grumpy as you can get and still own a cell phone, though he and Bill Foote are neck and neck. Bill's site sucks too. Part of it is just time. Jimmy is very hands-on with his boards and with the manufacturing process for the production boards. Partly because he has fun in Vietnam, but mostly because he's fussy. If you get a custom Jimmy Lewis (hard to do these days) it's completely built by Jimmy--shaped, sanded, sealed, glassed, and all the bits stuck on. Not a lot of guys doing that.

He'd also rather downwind than dink around with a website. He's become quite the downwind junkie, and he's fast. He and Victor are the inside, suicide line guys on Maliko runs. Right on the reef, all the way. You have to have no fear of 30 foot waves to do that. I think they're insane.

If I were the head of the company, I wouldn't waste time working on a website either.

I'd hire someone to do it.  Someone who is really into paddleboarding, not just some tech geek.

I'd ask the forum for suggestions as to what everyone would like to see on the website.

The website is really the showroom floor of the business. It has to look good and be a resource of useful information. It should have good quality pics and videos of the boards actually being used to give us an idea of how well they perform.

I wonder what those multicolored JL boards were that you saw.

Do you guys think we'll ever actually see 2015 WW's or SG's up here? I think it's the Unions to blame.....,,,? ;)

Nice find Creek.

Here's one for you.

Yeah the boards will get here. We just have to wait, and wait, and wait some more. Then we might see one.

Wow... that's a big boy on that 8'9.... good to see, looks fairly comfortable on it and it went pretty well in small mush.
He probably doesn't get to much flak in the line-up ;D

Ake. ;)

This is a good one because the guy on the 8'1 is filming the guy on the 8'9. Two World Wides in one video.

Pono -  I am guessing the multi coloured boards are Jimmy's Supertech ones.....his most shreddy boards for rippers?

Does JL make the Super Tech in an 8'8"?  I can't find it on any JL site. Even the Italy JL distribution site. 8'3" is the biggest.
8'5" Starboard Pocket Rocket, 8'0" Kazuma Fugu custom,  8'10" Kings Sidewinder, 10' Starboard Noserider, 14' BARK Carbon Dominator, SIC F16 V3, KeNalu and Quickblade paddles, 19' Eaton Prone, 67" Goode 9700
