no worries, hope ya can make it.. I'm still getting rsvp's everyday and that does not include the buses that will be coming…

I'm starting to get a bit concerned about fishing poles… and how we should rig these poles up for success and ease…

we have so many plastics, I think setting up all rods with some sort of ugly plastic for bass would be the easiest to set up and for the participants to cast and not get tangled. Truth is we all know this is not the hottest lake in CA. so all good…  :smt002

I want to get lots of night crawlers for the kiddies to perch jerk off the dock and that's where we need a bunch of closed face zebco's kiddie poles if need be.

I'm looking into purchasing 10 to 20 closed face zebco reels and about another 20 to 30 middle of the road spinning outfits in a med-light action…

if anyone has extra set ups like these and don't mind them being used for the day, please post up what your bringing so I can get a good idea of what we need to purchase.

and as always...

Game day is approaching and this is going to be a Big One…

quite possible the Biggest HOW event ever… I'm not concerned about getting everyone on a kayak,

but I would like to make sure we get every kid gets a fishing pole.. I'm expecting a lot of young kids and at this event in numbers..

were talking conservatively around 80 participants… plus volunteers and whatever…  lots of no shows game day as to why I took off all the stops on this event, but,

make no mistake, this will be a large event…

Kayakjack, what are ya thinking breakfast and lunch… your going to need a team….

we also need people to set up rods

and the most important safety concern I have is who is going to take over "Launch Command"

Last Year Pisky did it and did and Excellent job.  I'm not sure if Pisky is going again, but we need someone on the ball team to take this over..

also need some one to help the kiddies with "perch Jerking.." off the dock

more duties to come and the more we have assignments before hand the better this will work…

it's a big logistics deal here, but were NCKA…

  We can Handle….   :smt004

I am asking that if anyone coming has an extra fishing pole or two, especially close face Zebco Kiddie poles, please bring them, MARK THEM in some way and please post up what your bringing in the way of extra fishing poles so I know what I need to buy.

Thanks Again Everyone!!!

My daughter Emma would love to help with perch fishing... Consider it done. She is the perchinator!!! Carrie, Kelsie, and I plan on handling the morning flood of registration. We will be there early set up and ready... Later as dust settles I can be on the water or kitchen help...

I can be there in the early morning to help set up, what time is everyone getting there? I have to boogie to Elk Grove to do a seminar for kids at Wreck Em University, should be done around 2:30, then can boogie back to help in the afternoon. Let me know Don what ya need that I can take care of, and I will get it there or make it happen. I will drop off my big cooler full of ice again for water/drinks. Could be really warm again and people need to be thinking about hydration and sun screen.  :smt006

Who?  :smt004

I'll be there. And if there are as many people as it sounds, we'll definitely need more than one at the top of the dock. The pfd station gets insane at time with fitting and returns.

The volunteers on the dock last year helping select kayaks and launching were awesome. Hope they're coming back.

Thanks for all the support guys. We are rallying the troops. The Lodi paddling community always comes through for the vets. I'm guessing we will have 20+ volunteers/ helpers on our end, plus our usual boat house staff assisting getting folks on and off the water.

Local kayak anglers from the Yak A Bass group will be on the water to help guide those who want to fish.

As always we have lots and lots of boats. We have 4 pedal drives available, lots of sups, lots of tandems, pedal boats etc.

Looking forward to hanging out with everyone!

is it possible for someone to run off a 100 or so copies of these waivers and bring them to the show?

I mean if you can get it done free, if not, I'll go the usual route…  $$$

and please feel free to print, sign and bring to the show, helps move things along…

Carrie is going to be busier than a Centipede at a toe counting contest…

  Thanks Carrie!!!   :smt045
