Argo Canoe Livery opens for summer season

Victoria Cendrowski was first in line to take advantage of the opening day of the Argo Canoe Livery Saturday morning.

The yoga instructor checked out a stand up paddle board and used a brick to anchor herself in a quiet spot on the Huron River.

Cendrowski teaches a paddle boarding yoga workshop through Ann Arbor Public Schools Rec & Ed.

U-M seniors Claire Erba and Katy Robinson also took advantage of opening day in hopes of putting off their impending final exams before graduation.

"It's a break before we commit to studying for the next two weeks straight," said Robinson.

From April 18 to May 22 the Argo Canoe Livery will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends only.
