Any recommendations for a decent Glasgow city centre pub, which will offer good food (especially seafood)?
    thanks

Well there's always Rogano's Oyster Bar in Exchange Place off Buchanan St. A Glasgow Art Deco institution!

They do bar meals apparently, in addition to the more expensive restaurant. Plenty of seafood!

(Never been there mind, though I always wanted to. One day...)

Can't go wrong with the Rogano. It's a tad expensive if all you are after is pub grub. There are loads of others doing all sorts of food from Argentinian steaks to Genuine and fantastic Chinese and Asian food that bears no resemblance to the stuff on the standard takeaway menus.

If you head for the George Square area and the 'Merchant City' you will be spoiled for choice. For real first class seafood you will be hard pushed to beat 'Arisaig'. Not really a pub though and not cheap either.
Don't rule anything out though. Glasgow city centre is full of great places to eat and drink. All are very friendly and welcoming.

Drum and Monkey in St Vincent's street, nice atmosphere and good food. Not the cheapest but not silly expensive. I like to visit each time I go home.
