Hey everyone. I'm looking to sell my Eddyline Carribean 14. It was purchased this past summer and has never been in the water. It is white and has the rod pod and factory installed rudder. Not a single hole drilled in her or any mods done. I was ready to take her out but am considering a change in the type and style of fishing that I want to do which would require a different type of yak for me. I'm willing to take a hit on this beautiful yak without ever launching her in order to reach my goal. I would keep her but the wife does not understand the awesome concept of owning multiple kayaks and I do not feel like spending the time and effort on educating/convincing her. Comes with factory seat, screwball and rod holder as if you were to buy it new. Paddle in pic is not included in sale.I'm looking to get $1200 for her. That is about as big a hit that I'd be willing to take and is a good savings when compared to purchasing new with paying taxes. Kayak is located in Novato. If interested, or have any questions, post or send a pm. Thanks.     Bert

Interested! I thought the rodpod requires cutting out the hole, is that not considered a modifcation and doesnt that void the warranty! anyway it looks beautiful!! will have to think about it, would you let a person demo it?

The rodpod, rudder system and just about anything else you want that's on Eddylines catalog web page can be customized to your Caribbean from the factor then shipped to the dealer nearest you.  Besides that, it's possible to have a dealer or someone else custom fit the rodpod, flush rod mount/holders.  The only accessory that has to be rigged from the factory is the rudder system.  Just ask to see the receipt from the seller, if you ever have any doubts.  If anything else, pm me or Vwool and we'll try to help you out.

Thanks Yester. Hey CaptSloppy. The rod pod on the Eddyline Caribbean 14 isn't quite a traditional rod pod. It's a cover that goes over the round hatch that you might be able to slide two full length rods and reels into. (More likely one.) the YouTube videos you see the cutout pod from the awesome folks at Headwaters is a modification. I believe that the modification would void the warranty but it was something I was planning on doing. As of now the pod is untouched. I wanted to see if there were any interested buyers before I start any rigging. I've  decided to concentrate more on large mouth bass fishing and am looking at shorter, more stable  stand up platforms. I'd love to keep this yak but there is the wife factor. Demo is possible if you are truly interested but if you ended up not buying her, I wouldn't be able to say that she's never been in the water anymore.

I'm sorry, when speaking of rod pod I meant the center console cover kit.  They have discontinued the item and for 2015 all Caribbean 14 center console have changed and will not accommodate the cover anymore .   So if you want to go the route of cutting the center hatch like you guys said would void the kayaks warranty, then you would have to buy Landsonfeet's kayak or any 2014 Caribbean 14 or older model.  Just make sure you have a center cover before going that route.

You state that you are looking at a more stable yak for bass. Would you be intrested in a trade for a predator13?

Thanks for the offer yakhopper but I'm stuck on going to the dark side. I was looking at hobies before buying the Caribbean 14 and with the 2015 outback out now, I'm sold...gotta get one.

Alright. So I'm more desperate than I thought. Just dropped the price to $1200. That would be over $700 difference from buying new, for a yak that hasn't hit water yet.

No Howard, Igor is several kayaks down the road from the Outback.
I'll take it.
