Diversity and Humble

The thing I like about this sport and I guess most other sports is the diversity and how humble some of the participants are. The different back grounds, occupations, etc. But, never in my wildest dreams did I figure Supthecreek (the skipper) was a famous television star in his previous life. Never mentioned it, never bragged about it, just wanted to surf.  ;D

Cool pic.  Someone looked like they had washed ashore from a three hour tour in one of SUPcreek's surf photos.  Guy was lying on the beach looking beat from his go out... something we all can relate to.

Bill... that's Cyclops a Zoner... his board hit him in the thigh out of action for the rest of the day. To his surprise Cyclops had 26" of snow waiting for him to shovel the next day. Charlie Horse and all.

Ha haaaaa... I wish.
"Shred" aka Gilligan just made the leap to SUP after lifelong surfing.
He made up that picture last night in a fit of boredom at his Island retreat in Eleuthra

Today is Shreds Birthday so I did a little remake

and I'll add a shot of "Weed" freezing his arse off for to document the local surf scene.... thanks Eddie!

Well even without the excuse of getting hit by my board, that picture looks like me after every session.  Though I usually get home first so I can collapse in private.  26" of snow shoveling just sounds diabolical.

Here's a good one.  We finish a downwinder last week and PBill says to me, "Hey, what's with the gut?"  That was after I had kicked his sorry ass down the coast.  Still it hurt.  I'm a sensitive guy.  Someday I'll have a sixer.
