My v-bag test  using super mini pump worked!!  blank not deforming.

Pressure is not high, but good enough to compact the lamination.

Had to use gummy seal at end of bag, could not get it sealed using tie in knot and tape method.  Any tips to seal the open end!?

Now I have to figure out how to get 2 layers of glass wet out on table, then put on blank, trimmed, wrapped with plastic,  into bag a vacuum on. All in 60 min...

Thanks DW.  Know where I can get one in Europe?  58$ for shipping... Guess I could try to make one out of 2 plastic electrical conduit.  Pvc pipes are banned in Sweden...

Lamination of deck,  decided to do 1 layer by hand to lapp,  then I'll sand and spackel a bit before bagging on 2 more with rail wrap. Building it bomb proof for the boy.

Great looking board, your kid must be stoked out of his mind.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

the build continues.
First vacuum lam on bottom had some wrinkles in the laminate- did 3 layers on wet out board.
This time: Moved the bag vacumm points, used only breather in center, peel ply is real stuff not shower curtain.
Wet out on the board- i think im wasting resin wetting out on table, and cloth is not getting stretched out tight on the board.
Put down 2 layers, had already hand laminated on layer on deck to lapp. ( i should have bagged the deck layer, but took easy way out. )
This time it looks good and smooth, but will see tomorrow.

I Missed this vid. Cool stuff. From what I've read the bag and table might be overkill, you'll likely pull the resin out with the vac.

Agree on the board, it's super cool. I need to get back in the garage and start a real board.

Im not using perforated foil And therefore the vac is not pulling and epoxy into breather.
Laminate-peelply- thin release plastic( not perforated) - breather over center of board.
One thing i learned this time is putting down the peelply nice and smooth and tight keeps laminate in place, preventing any wrinkles. Also i believe wetting out on board is pulling laminate tight and this also reduces risk with wrinkles.
The vbag is definately compacting the laminate layers Together .

Putting on micro balloon mix and side project to finish a kiteboard I shaped and glassed 4-5 years ago.
No off to Tokyo, then Stockholm for work.  The Barbadoso for some sup,  kite and general ocean fun with the family.
Won't finish this up until may.

Sanded microballon layer. Pigmented so it's easy to see where you are. Putting on 2 comp primer in prep for 2 comp polyurethane paint finish. Looking Ok.

Amazing board, again your kid must be blown away. Can you talk more about the microballoons? Was that the fill coat?
