I do not know what the demo day structure is going to be. If I decide to I can bring a Tarpon 120-140-160, Ride 115-135, and a Thresher 140. And maybe a newer unseen model too!

"The failure of an attempt to establish a kokanee fishery at Rollins Lake is an unexplained mystery. The DFG planted 40,005 fingerling kokanee at the lake in 2005, 16,400 kokes in 2006, 24,286 in 2007 and 40,125 in 2008, but as in the case of Folsom Lake, the fish didn't thrive."

Do you think the Brown trout, and the bass ate the fingerlings. In north Idaho the F&G pay you to catch a lake trout. It was 2.00 per head and no limit. On Mackinaw and Kamloop trout! I'm not sure if they still do that. These trout were praying on full size adult Kokanee. Last i heard the population was coming back. Also there was a problem with the spawn. Squaw fish would find the nest and eat the eggs. So they had a derby for a year I forgot what you won, but someone caught a truck bed load of Squaw fish.

We need to do the squawfish thing at Whiskeytown up here. Their population has really boomed at that lake and the bass fishery has taken a nose dive because of it.

hahahahaah! Ya, lake level up 25-30 feet in last 3 weeks. Fish all still deep and lock jaw affected... Not even dangled night crawlers on schools of fish in 20-30 ft didn't get it done... great time playing with the thresher and new fish finder though...

Weimarian is right on about Rollins Lake.... Although early spring when conditions are right I usually get some nice holdover rainbows.  The character of the lake can change quickly making what you used yesterday no good today.  I would LOVE to do this event, especially since the lake is only 4 miles from my home, but I will be out of town. Selfishly, I suggest another date?
