Just picked up new 9' 1 carbon Allwave this morning. Had an hours surf on it and loved it. Different to the Prowave and from my point of view at 65 years young a bit more forgiving. Changed the fins to my Shapers quads which loosened it up a lot. Great colour.

Funny thats what I thought when I saw the brochure and it's actually a nice colour when you see it for real. A lot more blue than the false colours that the camera shows.

Nice looking board Rockman!

Keep us posted after you have some sessions on it.

AkeG... ha ha.... same wavelength... I ordered the 8'5 yesterday.... now I have a few months to drop to a suitable weight.

I thought about the 8'11 Carbon....for guaranteed ease.... but the allure of a completely new shape was too much

We really need to meet up for a surf.... same board paths for the past 2 years.... I'll be in Maine at the end of the month.

Mr. Magnet.... try to get some action shots please !

Ha Ha What Can I say? Fanatic makes great boards for the conditions we see! Have spent many, many sessions on Allwaves (owned a couple)in every sort of conditions....If any sub-9 would work well for me up here it would be an Allwave template. Just love the dims on the 8'5"!

That's providing I ever get off of my Prowave.....!!

Did you order a Carbon?

Give a head's up when you're going to be in the neighborhood!

9.5 LTD for me, picked it up Saturday and went out in less then ordinary surf as I just had to try it,
(I had 9.6 allwave for 3 years but it meet a sad end a few weeks ago)

The 9.5 was very stable, easy to paddle and surfed better so that’s a thumbs up from me.

oh someone said it looks good to

Hi board is very smooth is the best way to describe it.Its very different to the prowave and a bit more forgiving. Turns well but I would put that down to the quad fins. I tried a tthruster set up but did not last long before going back to thruster set up. Front 7 and rear 5 (shapers fins) .
Very happy with board and recomend . Paddles easy and I catch a lot more than I miss .
