I was surfing this morning and overheard that he had passed last night. The Paskowitz family are part of the fabric of San Clemente.

Oh man.... that Subject line hit me.

His passing marks the end of quite a surfing safari. He and his brood set the bar for nomadic surfing adventures as a family.
Doc's son Israel, is my all time favorite longboard surfer.

Doc has been an inspiration to many surfers, for a long time.

Peace to you and your family Mr. Paskowitz, thanks so much for the lifestyle you passed on to so many.
