Well my plans are working out so that I can make it!  we doing this downpour or shine?

Rain or shine I will be there at sunrise.

I just got an e-mail and permission letter for the event, and CDFW is letting us use their dumpster at the Yolo wildlife office to unload the trash we collect.  I'll have printed directions for those who will be hauling trash out.

Is there an extra trash picker upper do hickey I can borrow  from someone ? Not going to have time to hunt one down before hand, unless they got them at Walmart ?

Just bought two tri-tips. Seasoning with a nice rub of pepper, lemon juice, garlic, dried onion, ect. We will also have a portable gas grill with us. Looking forward to hot food, friendship, and fishing.

I was going to fish for sturgeon, but since I just got home from a long week in the field I think I will throw plugs for striper unless I somehow I can find the energy to pack my sturgeon gear.

It looks like our group is on the smaller side, but I still think we can make liberty island a much cleaner place, and perhaps convince other anglers to be better stewards.

See you all tomorrow!

I mostly plan to sturgeon fish, or whatever else decides to hit on what I throw out. I may bring some plugs and jigs if that is what I can catch something on.

Got the porta potty loaded up. Do we need any extra camp stoves? I was going to bring a pop up but with the 30 mph wind gusts forecasted I decided that would be a bad idea.

With weather chances of decreasing, I offered my wife a chance to bail, and she did. I however am on my way now. Her not coming did offer more room in the element, so I was able to get two folding tables loaded up for the bbq.
See you guys shortly.
